My name is Sebastian Colon, and cycling is my sport. I’m a 12 year old track and bmx racing cyclist. I started racing bmx at 6 years old and track in 2014. I ride track for the Levine Law Group Cycling Team, BMX for Northwest BMX/Redline Team and my cycling coach is Kyle Knott. I’m the 2015 North Carolina State Champion 12 Expert and the 2015 USA Cycling NC/SC Regional Track Champion.
2015 was a great racing year for me. I made 8 National main events, and I mastered the 8 meters SX/Supercross ramp at the Novant Health BMX SX track. I also worked at the Novant Health BMX Summer Camps helping kids to get better in the sport of BMX racing.
I will be competing in the USABMX Grands in Tulsa, OK from November 27-29, 2015. I know it is the toughest National BMX race, but I’m training hard for it and I hope to do well and have a lot of fun racing the fastest kids in the nation. I’m a Rock Hill resident and I’m supper happy to have the Giordana Velodrome and the Novant Health BMX SX Track in my backyard.
Thanks to my sponsors and Team Managers for believing in me and your support: Levine Law Group Cycling Team, Northwest BMX/Redline, Kyleknottcoaching, EverGreen Partners of Charlotte and Ride Rock Hill.
